Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities within the factory automation domain (e.g., industrial control, motor control, industrial networking)
Execute strategic marketing plans to achieve product line revenue and market share goals
Collaborate closely with R&D, product management, and sales teams to define new product requirements, features, and roadmaps based on market insights
Drive successful product launches by developing comprehensive marketing collateral, sales tools, training materials, and communication plans
Craft compelling value propositions and messaging that clearly articulate the benefits and differentiation of NXP's factory automation solutions to various customer segments (e.g., OEMs, system integrators, end-users)
Provide technical marketing support to regional sales teams and customers, including conducting product demonstrations, technical presentations, and answering product-related inquiries
Develop application notes, white papers, and technical articles to showcase NXP's expertise
Identify and engage with key industry partners, standardization bodies, and ecosystem players to expand market reach and accelerate adoption of NXP technologies
Continuously monitor competitor activities and offerings to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, informing NXP's strategic responses
Support demand generation activities through participation in industry events, webinars, and digital marketing campaigns

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related technical field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or application engineering within the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on industrial or factory automation
Proven experience in market analysis, product definition, and successful product launches
Strong understanding of factory automation concepts, architectures, and technologies (e.g., PLC, IPC, fieldbus protocols like EtherCAT, PROFINET, IO-Link, industrial Ethernet, motor control, functional safety)
Familiarity with semiconductor technologies relevant to industrial applications (e.g., microcontrollers, processors, analog, power management, connectivity solutions)
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively to diverse audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Results-oriented with a proactive and collaborative work style
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in English
