Responsibilities
Designing and improving security controls across on-prem and cloud environments
Working closely with software engineering teams on application security, secure design, and SDLC practices
Building and maintaining security automation and tooling to scale protection and reduce manual effort
Helping define and implement controls related to AI usage, data flows, model access, and risk management
Investigating complex security issues and driving them to resolution with a structured, analytical approach
Partnering with senior stakeholders to explain technical security concepts, risks, and trade-offs, particularly around AI
Contributing to the evolution of the firm’s broader security strategy through hands-on work and thoughtful input
Qualification
Required
Strong background in software engineering, with the ability to read, write, and reason about production code
Experience across application security, cloud security, and on-prem environments
Demonstrated ability to build or improve security automation rather than relying on manual processes
Practical understanding of AI-related security risks, controls, and data considerations (hands-on experience is a plus, strong curiosity and judgement are essential)
An excellent problem solver with a naturally curious mindset
Comfortable working with very strong engineers and earning their respect through technical credibility
Able to clearly communicate complex technical topics to executives and senior leaders
