Responsibilities

Provide decision support to global operation leadership team through data driven analysis, insight and recommendations
Partner with global operation leadership team to develop resource and spend plan to support Micron’s strategic goals
Drive to best-in-class operations cost by understanding competitive benchmarks, establishing internal objectives, and driving accountability
In collaboration with Global Procurement, identify areas to optimize spending through industry analysis and should-cost modeling
Develop a high-performing team and resilient organization, including resource planning, training, mentoring, rewarding, and developing succession plans
Ensure compliance with GAAP, Micron accounting policies and practices, and other relevant rules and regulations
Partner with finance and operations collaborators to develop and implement new systems and processes to improve efficiency and meet changing business needs
Collaborate with other leaders and teams inside and outside the global Finance organization to develop highly effective working relationships

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field
15 plus years of work experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Controlling or related fields in the manufacturing industry (electronics manufacturing, semiconductors or other high-tech industries preferred)
10 plus years of leadership experience, ideally in globally dispersed teams

Preferred

MBA
Additional professional qualifications (CPA, CFA, CMA)
Ambitious and intellectually curious, with a high energy level, growth mindset and passion for identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
Strong analytical skills and discernment
Proven ability to perform in an environment characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA)
Strong influencing skills and the ability to build solid interpersonal relationships based on mutual trust
Demonstrated capability to build highly effective and engaged teams
Excellent written and verbal English-language communication and presentation skill
