Kitting Technician

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock for kitting operations
Gather all the identified items and organize them into a kit, which can be a box, container, or other suitable packaging
Store the kits in a designated area, easily accessible for maintenance personnel
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Communicate with customers and company management to address questions and concerns
Collaborate with quality assurance and management to implement process improvement changes
Interface with ERP software systems
May perform other work/duties as assigned

Required

A desire and ability to learn the kitting processes and inventory management software is essential
Strong ability to develop and cultivate customer relationships
Must have a mechanical aptitude and demonstrated knowledge of recognizing manufacturing applications
Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word & Power Point) and the technical aptitude to learn all company specific programs and software applications
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are crucial
Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Preferred

Experience in a supply chain environment or a related field is preferred but not required
Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and other relevant software is a plus
