Responsibilities
Own development, maintenance, and operations of all technology supporting Risk Management
Write and maintain production-quality code for risk calculations and services in Python and R
Deliver accurate, timely, and scalable risk calculations across exposure, limits, and portfolio analytics
Translate CRO requirements into technical roadmaps and iterative delivery plans
Modernize legacy workflows and build next-generation, cloud-native risk platform
Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor development resources
Qualification
Required
8+ years hands-on software engineering experience in financial or risk technology
Expert-level Python and R for building production analytics and calculations
Experience with statistical risk models supporting multi-PM equity long/short portfolios
Familiarity with TypeScript, Java (legacy systems), AWS, Docker, and CI/CD
Strong understanding of financial market data, pricing inputs, and portfolio analytics
Direct experience building risk platforms, calculation engines, or trading systems
Preferred
Hedge fund or asset management background strongly preferred
