Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting

The University of Kentucky's Von Allmen School of Accountancy is inviting applications for multiple tenure-eligible positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will engage in teaching, research, and service, with a focus on publishing high-level research in top journals.

Responsibilities

Candidates should have an active research program demonstrating capacity for high level research and have an excellent record of classroom instruction
Applicants should have an expectation to publish research in top journals such as TAR, JAR, CAR, AOS, RAST, JAE, or comparable outlets
The anticipated initial Distribution of Effort will be 30% teaching, 65% research, and 5% service for an assistant professor or 30% teaching, 60% research, and 10% service for an associate professor
This distribution will be reviewed annually

Required

The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field, or may be ABD with expected completion of their Ph.D. by August 2026
