Responsibilities
Design & Execution: Set up and run HTS experiments for reaction optimization, solubility, crystallinity, polymorph, and solid-form screening
Robotic Integration: Operate and maintain advanced liquid handlers, integrated analytical systems, and robotic laboratory platforms
Workflow Precision: Prepare samples, reagents, and plates in strict accordance with SOPs and safety protocols
Advanced Analysis: Perform compound characterization using XRPD, microscopy, UHPLC/HPLC, MS, and SFC
Data Integrity: Analyze and interpret complex datasets, ensuring all findings are meticulously documented in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs)
Quality Assurance: Partner with SMEs to ensure experimental reproducibility and data quality
Cross-Functional Support: Work alongside chemists, automation scientists, and analytical experts to move projects forward
Process Improvement: Participate in data reviews, troubleshooting, and the continuous refinement of automated workflows
Lab Stewardship: Assist with inventory management, equipment upkeep, and general laboratory organization
Qualification
Required
Completed BS or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline
1–5 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical research environment
Proven hands-on experience in chemistry automation and high-throughput experimentation (HTE) is required
Deep familiarity with solid-state screening and early-phase small molecule development
Hands-on experience with air-free techniques and glovebox operations
Working knowledge of chromatographic methods and analytical software
Proficiency with ELNs and modern data analysis platforms
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong verbal and written skills for reporting results and collaborating across teams
