Responsibilities
Partner with project managers, operations leads, and finance to gather, document, and prioritize business and system requirements for construction projects and internal processes
Analyze project financials, forecasts, and change orders to identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities to reduce budget variance
Design and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI/Tableau) tracking KPIs such as budget vs. actual, schedule variance, earned value, and resource utilization
Create and execute SQL queries and data models to turn field and ERP data into actionable insights for decision-making
Map and optimize business processes; define user stories and acceptance criteria for system enhancements (Procore, ERP integrations) and support UAT cycles
Support change management and training efforts—produce user guides, run training sessions, and validate fixes post-deployment to ensure adoption and data integrity
Qualification
Required
Proven experience with Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and financial modelling
Hands-on SQL experience for querying and transforming operations and project data
Power BI dashboard design and data-visualization experience
Requirements elicitation and user-story development for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline project controls
Familiarity with construction project management platforms (Procore or similar)
Preferred
Tableau or other BI tool experience
Scheduling tools knowledge (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
Business analysis certification (CBAP or PMI-PBA)
