Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities
The HR Generalist is responsible for a broad range of human resources functions, including onboarding and orientation, HR system administration, attendance and reporting support, employee data management, and the processing of employee status changes
This role serves as an important liaison between local HR, corporate HR, payroll, and operations, ensuring accurate communication, consistent application of policies, and timely resolution of employee concerns across shifts
In this role, the HR Generalist will provide coaching and counseling to employees and leaders, assist with disciplinary processes, and help promote fair and respectful treatment throughout the organization
The position also supports leadership development and training initiatives and contributes to the continuous improvement of HR processes
A strong focus on confidentiality, ethical practices, and compliance with employment law is essential for success in this role
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Demonstrated ethical judgment and employee-focused mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
