Responsibilities
Manage and execute month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Oversee the general ledger and ensure all entries are properly recorded and reconciled
Lead financial statement audits by preparing necessary documentation and collaborating with auditors
Perform account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Prepare and review journal entries in alignment with accounting standards
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
Analyze financial data to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency
Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced accounting staff as needed
Monitor and report on key financial metrics to support organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in accounting management, including month-end close and general ledger oversight
Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and regulatory compliance requirements
Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation
Familiarity with accounting software and tools to manage financial data effectively
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial information
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and external auditors
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
