The successful candidate will supervise employees in a manufacturing environment, plan and assign work, implement policies, and recommend improvements in production methods and procedures.

Responsibilities
Reinforces and maintains Safety, Food Safety, And Quality Standards
Review and execute production schedule and priorities
Troubleshoot thermoforming machines, identify process improvements, and communicate them to the Production Manager
Assist and coach on proper change-over, setup, and troubleshooting skills
Train and develop personnel in proper technics and procedures
Reviews and communicates inconsistency or incorrect information provided production paperwork
Provides input on the organization and set up of production lines
Reviews quality and quantity of all production jobs
Directly reports any issues of job stoppage or quality issues to the Production Manager
Coordinates communication on all lines during shift change over with other Shift Supervisor
Communicates inefficiencies and provides solutions to resolve them
Identifies employee performance issues and generates corrective actions
Orchestrates training and employee development amongst production job functions
Effectively communicates with all departments, ensuring that all components needed to begin jobs are known and provided
Supports and enforcing all company policies regarding procedures and safety compliance
Proactive in process implementation and suggestions
Qualification
Required
Production Management and Leadership ability
Must be able to set-up production jobs and monitor until completion
Must be able to guide and lead other employees effectively
Must be knowledgeable and able to train others in troubleshooting, tooling setup, and process adjustments on thermoforming equipment
Previous Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations
Troubleshooting, tool setup, and process adjustments on thermoforming equipment
Strong organization and attention to detail skills
Computer Proficient
Good Mathematical skills
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is required
