Commissioning Project Manager

Responsibilities

Provide overall project management and leadership for the entire commissioning team (all disciplines)
Develop and own the master commissioning program, budget, and resource plan
Act as the primary client representative for all commissioning activities, providing regular executive-level reporting
Manage the commissioning contract, subcontractors, and vendors
Lead the Integrated Systems Testing (IST) strategy, simulating failure scenarios to prove system resilience and redundancy
Ensure rigorous compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental plans
Facilitate the transition from commissioning to facility operations, including training of client operations staff
Drive the project through substantial completion, final handover, and warranty phase initiation
Implement and manage commissioning software tools and documentation platforms

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar)
10+ years of project experience in mission-critical construction, with at least 5 years specifically managing total commissioning programs for large data centers
Demonstrated success in managing multiple commissioning managers/leads and large, cross-functional teams
Deep technical understanding of both electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure
Exceptional financial, contractual, and risk management skills
Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities

Preferred

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable
