Semiconductor Equipment Engineer - 2nd shift
Raytheon Vision Systems is seeking a 2nd shift Semiconductor Equipment Repair and Maintenance Engineer in Goleta, CA. This role focuses on implementing maintenance procedures and system diagnostics to ensure the optimal performance of specialized process equipment, while also addressing production equipment emergencies to minimize disruptions.
Responsibilities
Communicate technical documentation effectively both written and verbally
Read Engineering schematics and technical drawings
Identifying failures using basic electronic test equipment and common hand/power tools
Work in a clean room environment, capable of lifting 28lbs
Adherence to environmental health and safety programs including electrical safety, gas safety, hazardous materials, material handling, and wearing personal protective equipment
Perform hands on system diagnostics, repair and maintenance on Semiconductor Photo Lithography Equipment, Steppers, Aligners, Metrology Spectrophotometers, and electro-mechanical devices
Collaborate with cross functional groups communicating equipment status
Provide Engineering Solutions and recommendations on process equipment failures
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Equipment Repair and/or Maintenance experience
Preferred
Experience with installation of Capital Manufacturing Equipment and Special Test equipment
Experience with electro / mechanical devices
Good interpersonal skill, be dependable and be able to follow through on multiple concurrent assignments
Experience in the maintenance troubleshooting and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
