Responsibilities
Process and issue purchase orders, track order confirmations, and maintain accurate PO records in the ERP
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to expedite deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate basic terms and lead times
Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment to prevent stockouts for roofing materials and sheet metal components
Match and route incoming invoices to purchase orders and support accounts payable coordination for timely payment processing
Manage shipment tracking and logistics coordination, including scheduling carriers and validating delivery documents
Maintain procurement documentation, supplier files, and periodic reports to support buy-side analytics and contract compliance
Qualification
Required
Proven experience processing purchase orders and maintaining PO workflows in an ERP environment
Hands-on vendor management experience: onboarding, communication, and issue resolution
Familiarity with inventory control practices and material replenishment for construction or manufacturing supply chains
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for PO tracking, reconciliation, and basic reporting
Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or equivalent) to manage procurement transactions
Ability to coordinate with accounts payable and logistics teams to close the procure-to-pay loop
Preferred
Experience with eProcurement platforms such as Coupa or similar
Familiarity with EDI or electronic supplier integrations
Exposure to procurement reporting and KPI tracking to support continuous improvement
