Senior UX Research Manager, Consumer Shopping
Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a Senior UX Research Manager for their Consumer Shopping team. In this role, you will drive the development of consumer experiences, leveraging qualitative and quantitative research methods to generate insights that influence product strategy and innovation.

Responsibilities
Lead and grow a team of qualitative and mixed-method researchers, helping them design and execute insights that drive business impact
Act as a thought leader, communicating and advocating user-centered recommendations at all levels of the organization
Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop user-centered strategy, ensuring it is informed by the evolving consumer landscape
Develop relationships with partner teams across Google to triangulate insights and create data-driven recommendations to influence decision-making
Raise the quality bar for qualitative research methods and communication across Shopping UX Research
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar
5 years of experience leading design projects and managing people or teams
Experience applying qualitative and quantitative research methodologies (e.g., usability studies, interviews, contextual inquiry, focus groups, field and lab studies, diary study and surveys)
Experience conducting consumer research in all stages of the product development life-cycle, from conception to launch
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
10 years of experience conducting UX research on products and working with executive leadership
7 years of experience managing projects, and working in a global organization
Experience defining creative research approaches
Experience in Commerce
