They are seeking an Electrical Estimator to support estimating efforts on various commercial electrical projects, with senior-level candidates having the opportunity to oversee estimating strategy and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial projects
Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing, scope reviews, and bid analysis
Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify risks and opportunities
Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and GCs during preconstruction
Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing
Support value engineering and alternate pricing efforts
For senior/chief candidates: lead estimating operations, review team output, and manage bid strategy and workload
Qualification
Required
5+ years of electrical estimating experience (commercial interior experience ideal)
Experience estimating projects ranging from small interiors to multi-million-dollar builds
Strong understanding of electrical systems, labor, materials, and NYC market pricing
Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as ConEst, Bluebeam, or similar
Candidates must be US Citizens, or Green Card holders
Preferred
Experience working with major NYC general contractors strongly preferred
Senior/Chief-level candidates should have leadership, mentoring, or departmental oversight experience
