Regional Account Director (RAD) US

The Regional Account Director (RAD) will be responsible for working with Managed Care Organizations and other access channels to optimize coverage and reimbursement for Camurus products.

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and implementing managed care strategies while building long-term positive and profitable relationships for the company’s product (and future products)
Work within assigned accounts and cover all market access channels, these may include Commercial and Managed Care Payers, IDN Accounts, and Group Purchasing Organizations
Develop coverage and reimbursement strategy, securing favorable formulary and PA status and maximizing patient access within assigned accounts
Work collaboratively with National Account Director (NAD) to provide input into financial analysis, proposals, and contractual agreements with customers as needed
Develop and execute business plans that are consistent with product objectives, strategies, and commercial goals
Work cross-functionally with Sales Representatives, Sales Leadership, Field Access Managers, Medical, and HUB services, as required
Set challenging, but realistic, product revenue targets within assigned accounts and align strategy to achieve those objectives
Establish and promote positive and highly collaborative working relationships across the organization to ensure timely coordination of activities to achieve desired revenue and profitability within assigned accounts
Qualification
Required
10+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience
3+ years of experience with large national or regional accounts, including payers, MACs, PBMs
Experience with specialty product launches within the Market Access function
Functional knowledge of government and commercial payer coverage, payment landscapes and policies
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional partners
Demonstrated planning and communication skills; ability to present information clearly to multiple stakeholders
Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%
Ability to present to the executive level of MCOs/PBMs
Good knowledge of the managed care and specialty pharmacy industry as well as the contracting process
Negotiation skills
Ability to learn new skills quickly, effectively organize and prioritize tasks to achieve deadlines
Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office
Ability to build strategic business plans
Must possess a valid US driver's license and driving history must meet Company requirements
Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic small-company environment
Education: an undergraduate degree is required

Experience working within both small startup and large pharma preferred
