Responsibilities
Assist oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples
Prepare samples from processing
Accepts and signs for deliveries
Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck
Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area
Opens coolers and inspects contents of shipments
Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for
Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate
Follows strict safety and quality control procedures
Stores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary
Ensures that work area is clean and organized
Enters records in LIMS system
Serve as a back up driver as needed
Qualification
Required
Clean Driving Record
High School or GED
Customer Service Oriented
Good Oral and written English language skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to move around, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, squat and lift containers up to 50 pounds
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
