Brooksource is seeking a Power BI Support Specialist to join the support team for their Fortune 500 client. The successful candidate will provide technical support and assistance in using Power BI, including troubleshooting issues and guiding users on best practices.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and assistance to end users with Power BI
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
Assist with custom visuals
Investigate issues with Power BI Gateways, update credentials as necessary
Help users with connection issues
Check and troubleshoot licensing
Create service principles
Create new workspaces
Help with PBI Desktop installations
Install and test drivers for new data connection sources
Manage the PBI Service settings in the Microsoft Admin Portal

Qualification

Required

Experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Experience with networking is a plus
Power Apps/Automate experience also a plus
Development experience is a plus, but this is a support focused role for Power BI
