Avaya Technician
Verigent's client is seeking an Avaya Technician to provide day-to-day telecom support in an enterprise environment. This role focuses on basic moves, adds, changes (MAC work) and repair/troubleshooting of phone sets, ensuring reliable voice services for end users.
Responsibilities
Perform basic MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes) for Avaya phone systems
Troubleshoot and repair Avaya desk phones and related endpoints
Provide Tier 1 telecom support for voice services and end users
Escalate complex system or infrastructure issues to higher-tier support
Assist with user setup, programming, and device provisioning
Support voice-related service requests and incident tickets
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with Avaya Communication Manager (CM)
Experience supporting enterprise phone systems and end-user devices
Familiarity with telecom MAC work and phone provisioning
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
Ability to work onsite and respond to urgent support needs when required
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Teams (voice or collaboration support)
Knowledge of basic telecom cabling and endpoint connectivity
Experience working in a structured ticketing or IT support environment
