National Account Manager, Tellus
ASR Group is the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, and they are seeking a National Account Manager for the Tellus product portfolio. This role involves developing and executing business plans, managing sales efforts, and influencing commercial strategies for targeted customer segments.

Responsibilities
This individual will be accountable for leading the Tellus sales efforts working directly with the Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development along with Tellus technical resources
This individual will manage the commercial aspect of technical projects internally and with customers and will assist with prioritizing customer initiatives
Develop new Tellus business at targeted customers and segments – grocery perimeter, CPG brands, co-manufacturing, and other growing segments
Coordinate sales plans with brokers and 3rd parties as needed
Understanding of competition including their product lines, their targets and their strategies. Track competition and report activities by developing key customer contacts
Negotiation of prices and renewal contracts to maximum sales potential and maintenance of existing business, while aggressively pursuing new business at target accounts
Influence commercial strategy and new product development
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in the disposable packaging industry, preferably with direct sales/business development
Experience in a sales role, preferably within the packaging industry or as a customer of packaging companies
Sales experience in molded fiber products preferred
Understanding of the packaging industry and of complex selling relationships
Sales experience outside of packaging will be considered, especially in any sustainable categories
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year university
5 years' experience in food or B2B industry with direct sales experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Work independently with minimal supervision
Working knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, and Excel is a strong benefit
Ability to develop relationships with external and internal customers
Excellent interpersonal skills, interacts well with multiple departments as required
