Responsibilities
Develop and maintain modular components and subsystems
Contribute to the design, creation, and measurement of products that directly impact the lives of thousands of people every day
Participate in definitions together with principals and other teams, always thinking about scalable solutions
Identify and explore opportunities for improvement to ensure a high-quality product and an excellent user experience
Optimize application performance to ensure fast loading times and a smooth user experience
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Node.js
Proven experience with modern backend frameworks, especially NestJS (Express.js experience is a plus)
Strong frontend development skills with React.js (Next.js experience is a plus)
Solid understanding of software architecture, including: RESTful APIs (design, development, and integration), Event-driven architectures, Integration patterns and messaging systems
Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and data modeling
Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows
Strong knowledge of best practices, including testing, CI/CD pipelines, clean code, and SOLID principles
Experience performing unit, integration, and functional testing to validate system functionality and performance
Experience optimizing web performance for scalability and accessibility
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find creative solutions
Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment with strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks
Preferred
Nice to have: PHP and Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) experience
Development experience on the Magento 2 platform
Scraping and web crawling concepts and tools (Scrapy, Splash, XPath, etc.)
