Administrative Assistant

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge is an organization dedicated to helping individuals overcome addiction. The Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the Treatment Directors of the Outpatient programs, ensuring a smooth client experience and assisting in various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

Greet clients as they are entering outpatient treatment program
Create a client/customer focused experience for all clients seeking treatment services
Provide administrative support to the Outpatient program, including handling email correspondence & communication in a timely manner
Assist with processing payroll & time off approvals for the outpatient team
Manage and screen all walk-in appointments
Oversee mouth swab process in coordination with clinical team & order UA supplies
Order and stock office supplies, as needed
Supervise Recovery Navigators
Provide ongoing analytics to leadership, including weekly statewide reports – billable hours, counselor analytics, billable units, internal scorecard, etc

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years previous customer service or administrative experience
Previous experience working with Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and maintain reports
Must be comfortable working with people with life-controlling challenges, including mental health and addiction
The ability to live and work by MnTC's culture of honor & core values – practicing compassion, honor, respect, integrity, servanthood, and trust
Must be 21 years of age or older
At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances
Must be able to meet specific staff requirements outlined in Minnesota Statutes 245G.11. Reference: Sec. 245G.11 MN Statutes
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time
