National Account Business Executive
Batteries Plus is a company that powers people's lives every day, and they are seeking a National Account Business Executive to develop and manage national account relationships. This role focuses on driving strategic growth by building partnerships and coordinating efforts between the corporate team and franchise network to enhance revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new national account opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation
Secure and lead meetings with key decision-makers at large, complex customer organizations
Develop, negotiate, and close profitable sales agreements aligned with company growth objectives
Evaluate customer needs and market conditions to recommend solutions that drive value and revenue
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned national accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and program compliance
Build long-term, consultative customer relationships while identifying expansion and upsell opportunities
Partner with franchisees to ensure local execution aligns with national account programs and standards
Address customer issues promptly and proactively to ensure a high-quality customer experience
Collaborate with Inside Sales, Commercial Sales leadership, Marketing, and other internal teams to align strategies and execution
Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity tracking, and account documentation within CRM systems
Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting activities
Track and analyze national account program performance and provide insights to improve results
Operate within assigned budget guidelines and support responsible resource allocation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required
Minimum of 6 years of national account sales experience with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets
Demonstrated success managing large, complex accounts and negotiating profitable agreements
Experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers
Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence outcomes
Ability to analyze financial and performance data and develop data-driven recommendations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce
Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage priorities independently
Preferred
Experience working within franchise or multi-location business environments preferred
Operational or P&L exposure within a sales organization is a plus
