Responsibilities
Develop and manage daily schedules for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring efficient load planning and warehouse operations
Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouse teams to optimize labor utilization and dock scheduling
Utilize WMS and other logistics software to track shipments, scheduling, and warehouse workflows
Monitor and adjust schedules based on real-time operational needs, shipment delays, and volume fluctuations
Communicate scheduling updates with internal teams, customers, and third-party logistics providers
Ensure compliance with transportation, warehouse safety, and company policies
Identify process improvements to optimize scheduling efficiency and reduce operational costs
Generate reports on warehouse scheduling efficiency, labor utilization, and shipment performance
Prepare and compile reports as instructed by management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Uphold a clean and well-organized office environment to facilitate efficient workflow
Ensure all records and documentation is compliant with all CTPAT and FTZ requirements
Utilize OpenDock software for all inbound/outbound truck scheduling and door management
Foster excellent relationships with customers and colleagues by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving complaints courteously and efficiently
Qualification
Required
Minimum of one year of direct experience in a similar position
Proficiency in general office tasks, including telephone etiquette and computer skills in customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clear and concise interactions
MS Office, specifically Word & Excel
Strong numerical skills, including accurate counting and basic math calculations
Legible handwriting and organizational prowess for effective task management and multitasking
Capability to comprehend written policies and procedures and follow oral instructions accurately
Adaptability to evolving operational demands and customer needs

High School diploma preferred
