Responsibilities
Verify that complete and accurate order entry information has been received for incoming switchboard orders
Prepare Manufacturing Information (MI) for switchboards, utilizing Bid Manager, AutoCAD, and Plant Order Manager
Identify and design special fabricated parts required using ACAD and 3-D modeling systems (Auto-Desk Inventor, etc.), ensuring that MI’s are completed and the material is routed accordingly to the appropriate assembly team
Interface with customers, channel partners, Field-Sales, and EatonCare through participation in plant visits, training support and customer events
Provide input to Product Line development teams on design and pick table enhancements
Support and assist assembly teams in resolution of process and/or information quality problems
Support Satellite Plants thru design review and product implementation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution OR currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Engineering from an accredited institution with a graduation date in May 2026
Preferred
Experience with MRP/ERP Systems
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Experience with Autodesk (AutoCAD and 3D Inventor)
Experience with technical and application knowledge of switchboards
