Security Officer - Pharmaceutical Facility Patrol Driver

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout commercial property common areas, offices, loading areas, parking facilities, and building perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns
Control access by monitoring authorized entry points, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations per site procedures
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems as assigned and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or suspicious conditions to site leadership and/or local authorities as directed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to occupants and coordinating notifications and response per post orders
Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and electronic logs with clear, accurate details
Enforce property rules and parking policies as assigned, addressing violations through verbal direction and appropriate escalation consistent with site guidelines
Support fire, medical, weather, and evacuation events by following site emergency plans, assisting with area checks, and helping guide occupants to designated locations
Perform routine checks of doors, gates, stairwells, mechanical rooms, and other restricted areas, reporting unsecured openings and/or unusual conditions
Communicate professionally with property management, building engineers, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily operations, special events, and evolving site needs
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer Service Experience is preferred
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred
Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred
CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire
