Responsibilities
Serve as Sustainment Lead or Sustainment SME, providing expert-level guidance on sustainment life cycle management activities for supported programs and projects
Analyze functional business applications and design specifications across multiple functional domains, including: Finance, Accounting, Personnel, Manpower, Logistics, Contracts
Develop block diagrams and logic flowcharts to support application design and solution architecture
Translate detailed design specifications into computer software solutions
Design, code, test, debug, and refine computer software to produce required products and functionality
Prepare and maintain required documentation, including: Program-level documentation, User-level documentation
Enhance existing software to reduce operating time, improve efficiency, and support sustainment objectives
Provide technical direction and guidance to programmers, as required, to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering: Computer equipment capacity and limitations, Operating time constraints, Desired form and accuracy of results
Ensure software solutions align with operational, sustainment, and performance requirements throughout the system life cycle
