Responsibilities
Modify and adjust existing robotic code and be trained in how to transition to a design based robotic programming role
Support commissioning, testing, and ramp-up of new automation and robotic cells
Work closely with automation and mechanical design engineers to understand system architecture, learning mechanical design along the way
Gradually take on bespoke projects for robotics programming and automation design to improve efficiency within the plant
Qualification
Required
Educated to Bachelor's degree level in an engineering field
Experience with robotic programming (modification only is acceptable)
Proven ability to read, understand, and modify robotic code (ABB, FANUC, UR, or similar)
Preferred
Some CAD experience would be preferred (SolidWorks/Inventor) but can be taught
