Responsibilities
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related hazards to appropriate personnel
Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behaviors
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required by site protocols
Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and observations in a timely manner
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
21+ years of age
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
