Responsibilities

Administratively manage our Google Workspace environment, including user lifecycle, group policies, and application settings for Gmail, Drive, and Gemini

Manage and secure all company email channels, including Google Workspace, security gateways, and transactional email services, ensuring secure and reliable communications

Act as a key responder for IT issues, managing and resolving tickets through ServiceNow to provide timely and effective solutions to colleagues

Serve as a crucial liaison to the Information Security team, proactively implementing security configurations and integrating security best practices into all systems

Champion the strategic use of AI to identify opportunities for self-service solutions that enhance infrastructure efficiency and user empowerment

Apply formal change management procedures to minimize risk and lead incident response efforts to rapidly diagnose and resolve service outages

Independently drive initiatives by defining requirements, building project plans, and managing resources to deliver successful outcomes with minimal direction

Required

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a PhD

Proven experience in a Systems Engineer or similar role with a strong background in IT infrastructure, support, and automation

Deep, hands-on enterprise-level administrative experience with Google Workspace

Solid scripting skills for automation using languages such as Javascript, Python, or Google Apps Script (GAM)

Demonstrated experience with formal change management processes and leading incident response efforts for major incidents

Proficiency with email security gateways (e.g., Proofpoint) and knowledge of mail routing, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC

Preferred

Experience executing full lifecycle migrations from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace

Familiarity with transactional email platforms (e.g., SendGrid)

Experience using ITSM tools, with a strong preference for ServiceNow
