Enterprise SAFe Agile Coach-SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC) or SAFe® Practice Consultant-T (SPCT)
Exarca Inc. is looking for an Enterprise SAFe Agile Coach to lead the implementation of Scaled Agile Framework Transformation. The role involves evaluating Agile practices, providing coaching to IT leadership and teams, and fostering a culture of agility across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead, define, and develop strategies and actionable plans to implement Scaled Agile Framework Transformation with a focus on customer value
Evaluate current Lean and Agile practices, and maturity levels, identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
Oversee the Agile transformation for multiple IT programs to enable successful delivery of large strategic system development and migration initiatives
Provide coaching and mentoring to IT Leadership, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Release Trains, and individual teams, focusing on professional development and Agile context to improve maturity across IT
Serve as a change agent, helping to overcome resistance and foster a culture of agility, flexibility, and continuous improvement across the organization
Facilitate collaboration across teams, breaking down silos and ensuring that Agile practices are consistent and integrated throughout the organization
Supports the organization in building Epics, Features and Story backlogs, artifact sizing, dependency management, and other factors toward predictable delivery
Have experience in launching Agile Release Trains and understanding what it takes to successfully implement SAFe in the enterprise
Have experience training and supporting PI Planning events and coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
Train and mentor Scrum Masters on their role and build communities of practice for Scrum Masters to share, learn and grow
Identifies and promotes best practices in release planning, team goal setting, proper documentation and decomposition of Epics, Features, and quarterly objectives
Ensure Agility metrics are being tracked and monitored and assist teams in identifying and implementing solutions to address the improvement opportunities
Establish and maintain effective feedback loops, helping teams to continuously improve through regular retrospectives and data-driven insights
Qualification
Required
Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework principles and practices
At least 5 years of experience as a full-time, dedicated Enterprise Agile Coach working with senior leadership teams and Agile Release Trains
SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC) or SAFe® Practice Consultant-T (SPCT) certification is a must
Extensive experience in applying foundational Lean, Agile and Scaled Agile Framework principles and practices in a corporate environment
Possess the ability to influence others, implement changes, and standardize processes in a complex business environment which includes government staff and multiple IT vendors
Preferred
Enterprise Agile Coaching (ICP-ENT) and Coaching Agile Transformations (ICP-CAT) certifications
SAFe® Release Train Engineer 6.0 (RTE) certification
SAFe® Scrum Master 6.0 (SSM) or SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master 6.0 (SASM) certifications
