Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the hospital’s Quality Improvement (QI) program
Identify performance trends, prioritize improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Investigate incident reports, patient complaints, quality of care concerns, and adverse events
Utilize quality measurement tools and methodologies to monitor clinical processes and outcomes
Analyze quality data and present actionable insights to clinical and administrative leadership
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource on continuous quality improvement for Medical Staff and hospital departments
Collect, aggregate, and report inpatient and outpatient quality data to external agencies, including Telligen, eQHealth Solutions, IDPH, HFAP, and CMS
Prepare and submit required quarterly and annual quality reports in accordance with state and federal regulations
Ensure compliance with patient safety, quality improvement, and accreditation standards
Act as a quality liaison and educator for physicians, clinical leaders, and Medical Staff committees
Provide performance feedback to physicians and healthcare team members on quality measures
Conduct clinical quality reviews using tools such as RCA, FMEA, and PDSA
Identify, trend, and analyze adverse incidents and quality of care concerns, recommending corrective actions
Develop and manage QI projects to improve compliance with quality standards and patient outcomes
Facilitate the creation, revision, and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient safety and quality of care
Present quality reports and findings to Medical Staff Committees on a monthly basis

Required
