Human Resources Assistant
The State of Maine is seeking a dynamic and organized Human Resources Assistant to join their Department of Administrative and Financial Services. This role involves assisting DHHS employees with payroll rules, contract provisions, and other human resources functions in a supportive team environment.

Work through complex payroll rules
Interpret and explain contract provisions
Perform other human resources functions as needed
Qualification
Required
Education, training, and/or experience which provides a basic knowledge and understanding of human resources functions
Knowledge of basic human resources administration policies, procedures, and practices
Knowledge of payroll practices
Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
Preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of the Workday software program
