InternPublix Super Markets is committed to developing its associates through its Summer Internship Program, which prepares young professionals for workplace opportunities. Interns in the Risk Management Claims Department will gain hands-on experience in managing general liability and premises liability claims, participating in various projects that connect classroom learning to real-world corporate experience.

Responsibilities
Attend business unit and roundtable of case evaluation meetings
Observe mediations and/or trials
Evaluate statistical analysis of ad hoc projects and reporting
Provide recommendations to improve process support
Qualification
Required
Must be an actively enrolled student not graduating prior to the start of the Summer Internship Program in May; or
If graduating from a bachelor's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester; or
If graduating from a master's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester
Must be pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in risk management/insurance or first year Law Student and be a current sophomore or above (rising junior or above as of the program start in Summer 2026) or a graduate student
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to deal with confidential matters
Must have a current driver's license to be able to travel to various Publix buildings for meetings, as needed
Preferred
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access and Power BI or another BI platform
Basic knowledge of Python and Visual Basic of Applications (VBA)
Interest focused in Litigation and/or Risk Management/Insurance
