Operating Partner- Office of the CFO
Resource Management Group is a $50B Private Equity firm investing across sectors, and they are seeking an Operating Partner-CFO to focus on operational improvements and value creation in their portfolio companies. The role involves working closely with CFOs and CEOs to implement strategic initiatives and enhance financial performance.
Responsibilities
Lead key operational and financial projects such as post-merger integrations, cost-out programs, and process improvements
Conduct deep-dive analysis on operations, financials, and market positioning to identify opportunities for value creation
Serve as a bridge between the PE firm and portfolio company management, ensuring alignment on strategic initiatives
Collaborate with operations teams, finance, and leadership to drive measurable improvements
Provide weekly updates to the PE sponsor on progress, challenges, and key metrics
Qualification
Required
20+ years of experience with 5 or more years as a CFO in a PE owned portfolio company or management consulting with a focus on the office of the CFO
Experience with M&A, post-merger integration, and operational cost reduction programs
Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to work with senior management teams and drive execution
Preferred
Strong preference for CFO experience at a portfolio company
