Senior Center Specialist
The George Washington University is seeking a Senior Center Specialist to lead the organization’s mission to advance opportunities, economic mobility, and community well-being. This role will oversee a team of 150 coalition members and drive the strategic growth of All-In initiatives, ensuring measurable impact on program outcomes and community engagement.

Responsibilities
Provide visionary leadership to the All-In Coalition and Core Team, fostering a high-performing, accountable, and results-driven culture
Develop and execute organizational strategies that translate mission and vision into measurable outcomes
Provide mentorship, professional development and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Lead the scaling of the local All-In initiative into a national model, leveraging data, best practices, and lessons learned to expand reach and impact
Oversee evaluation of the All-In framework, using metrics and performance indicators to assess effectiveness and guide continuous improvement
Drive implementation of the Closing the Wealth Gap Stakeholder Report, translating recommendations into actionable initiatives that produce measurable results
Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic priorities with community needs and organizational objectives
Monitor progress and outcomes, adjusting strategies to maximize effectiveness and impact
Build and maintain high-value partnerships with community organizations, local leaders, funders, and other stakeholders to advance mission-driven results
Facilitate strategic relationships for the Resilience Innovation Labs ( RIL ) to strengthen community networks and enhance program impact
Represent All-In in regional and national forums, promoting visibility, influence, and collaboration
Engage with residents and partners to identify opportunities, assess needs, and measure community-level outcomes
Develop and execute a results-driven fundraising strategy to ensure organizational sustainability and growth
Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors, foundations, corporate partners, and other funding sources
Secure new funding streams through grants, sponsorships, and individual giving campaigns, tracking return on investment and impact metrics
Lead high-impact fundraising initiatives and donor stewardship efforts
Oversee grant compliance, budgeting, and reporting to ensure transparency and demonstrate measurable outcomes to funders
Oversee the design and delivery of programs that produce tangible outcomes in community well-being, economic mobility, and social impact
Ensure programmatic decisions are informed by robust data, evaluation results, and evidence-based practices
Provide guidance and support to team members and partners to ensure successful implementation and measurable results
Lead efforts to advance policies and practices that improve opportunities and quality of life for residents
Track and respond to policy developments at local, state, and national levels, using evidence to influence decision-making
Collaborate with stakeholders to promote actionable, high-impact policy solutions
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate organizational and programmatic impact
Analyze outcomes, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize results
Communicate results and impact to funders, the Board, and other key stakeholders
Performs other duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position
Qualification
Required
Qualified candidates will hold a BA/BS in a related discipline plus 7 years of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position
Demonstrated record of achieving measurable outcomes, including scaling programs, securing funding, and influencing policy
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, build partnerships, and drive organizational impact
Experience in strategic planning, evaluation, and translating evidence into actionable results
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated success in non-profit, philanthropic, or government sectors preferred
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) is desirable
