Responsibilities
Build, enhance, and maintain an end-to-end automation framework using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript
Design and execute high-quality test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and E2E scenarios
Integrate automated test suites into DevOps pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) to enable automated gated check-ins
Develop automated tests for RESTful APIs to ensure data integrity and backend reliability
Leverage Playwright’s capabilities to ensure seamless application performance across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit
Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve flaky tests
Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards for test code maintainability and scalability
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience in QA Automation Engineering
Experience with Playwright for automation testing
Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
Experience in building, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks
Ability to design and execute high-quality test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and E2E scenarios
Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)
Experience in developing automated tests for RESTful APIs
Ability to perform cross-browser validation using Playwright
Experience in defect management using JIRA
Ability to participate in peer code reviews
