Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for ensuring programming, milieu management and regulatory compliance of unit(s)
Maintains a system of communication and reporting between all staff on all shifts, as well as with other departments involved in the ongoing operation of the facility
Carries out personnel management activities associated with direct staff supervision such as performance management, hiring and onboarding staff
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of college of nursing. Associates or Bachelor's degree in nursing
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina or compact state
Thorough familiarity of psych pharmacy & the use of psychotropic medications
Record of consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills to be a role model to others
Preferred
Prefer a minimum of two years' experience in nursing administration or supervision, plus experience in psychiatric nursing
