Responsibilities
Maintaining and updating standard costs across product lines
Monitoring manufacturing variances (work orders, scrap, PPV) and presenting findings to leadership
Reviewing and closing work orders and quarterly results
Supporting new product development with cost estimates and margin analysis
Leading cycle count and physical inventory programs
Preparing journal entries and supporting month-end close (inventory, COGS, accruals)
Partnering with production, engineering, and supply chain to identify cost improvements
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong foundation in standard cost, inventory valuation, and cost flows
Solid understanding of GAAP, debits/credits, and cost structure mechanics
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred)
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working independently
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels
