The role involves overseeing audit workflows, defining automation requirements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Own functional definition of Internal Audit workflows across planning, controls testing, issue management, and regulatory reporting
Define requirements for AI-enabled audit automation with measurable accuracy and explainability
Partner with AI architects to ensure audit outputs meet regulatory defensibility standards
Support large-scale systems handling millions of audit records and control artifacts
Validate system performance, throughput, and SLA expectations
Ensure alignment with SOX, OCC, Federal Reserve, Basel, and internal governance standards
Qualification
Required
10–15+ years in Internal Audit within large financial institutions, with hands-on experience defining enterprise audit systems
Own functional definition of Internal Audit workflows across planning, controls testing, issue management, and regulatory reporting
Define requirements for AI-enabled audit automation with measurable accuracy and explainability
Partner with AI architects to ensure audit outputs meet regulatory defensibility standards
Support large-scale systems handling millions of audit records and control artifacts
Validate system performance, throughput, and SLA expectations
Ensure alignment with SOX, OCC, Federal Reserve, Basel, and internal governance standards
Experience with enterprise systems processing high data volumes with strict audit trails
Understanding of performance SLAs, data latency, and accuracy thresholds in regulated platforms
Ability to define validation metrics for AI-generated audit findings
Experience supporting regulator-facing systems
