Responsibilities

Serve as a first level supervisor planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory Mission Information Manager (MIM) positions
Perform duties as a senior information technology (IT) specialist providing a wide range of IT services tailored to support critical in garrison and distributed cyber Information Warfare enabling platforms
Provide advanced knowledge and skill in the use of IT systems and is considered an advanced IT user

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain & maintain a 'Top Secret/SCI' Security clearance
Incumbent is required to undergo counter-intelligence-scope polygraph examination
Must obtain & maintain an Information Assurance certification within 6 months of assigned duties
This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position
Knowledge of military, civilian, and contract services policies, procedures, and governing documents
Knowledge of cyber operational activities, weapon systems, and command, control, and mission process, systems, and applications
Knowledge of IT management information systems and applications software technology to isolate causes of problems between hardware, system, and applications software programs, and to measure system performance and/or extend operating system capabilities to support organizational business processes and operations
Knowledge of IT management information systems requirements and application software development techniques required in carrying out project assignments of considerable difficulty, and with little specificity regarding approach to be followed
Ability to maintain an up-to-date awareness of technological advances and predict how management can meet future requirements
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization
