Intern, Marketing (Summer 2026)

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts is seeking an Intern for their Marketing department for Summer 2026. Responsibilities

Collect marketing assets from artist management and share with communications & marketing team
Research grassroots marketing tactics to drive ticket sales
Generate targeted email lists through customer relationship management software to support marketing campaigns
Assist with summer brochure distribution campaign
Occasional involvement with Wolf Trap promotional events
List shows on external website calendars to increase exposure of Wolf Trap's summer season
Assist in gathering and trafficking campaign deliverables for multi-channel marketing campaigns to include digital, broadcast, out of home, and more
Other duties as assigned

Required

Creativity, initiative, organization, and strong attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and in team environments
Strong writing and editing skills
Demonstrates strategic and critical thinking skills
Working knowledge of the Washington DC media market and understanding of the performing arts patron a plus
Undergraduate students (must have completed at least 1 year of undergraduate study)
Graduate students
Recent graduates (up to 2 years out of school)
Career-changers currently enrolled in a degree program
International students (J-1 or F-1 Visa required)
Must be physically located in and have a local address in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia for the duration of their employment
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75 percent of the time
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment (i.e. calculator, copier, printer, etc.)
Occasionally required to walk, stoop, bend and reach with arms
Lift/move up to 10 pounds infrequently
