Assistant Account Executive, Consumer

Responsibilities

Build media lists using resources such as Cision and Muck Rack
Develop an understanding of the earned media landscape, including cultivating and maintaining relationships with key media
Craft pitches
Conduct outreach and secure coverage
Monitor for coverage (client and competitive)
Build influencer rosters
Support content review process
Collect and report back-end creator metrics
Begin to form relationships with and manage influencers/managers
Facilitate influencer giftings
Serve as coordinator of your team, schedule internal/client calls
Set call agendas and share comprehensive recaps
Actively participate in internal meetings, beginning to share a point of view and ideas for both improved team operations and client deliverables
Organize client folders and databases
Oversee brand samples and track inventory (if applicable)
Coordinate deliveries to media and influencers
Coordinate team/client meeting details (check in, meals, etc.)
Support events and mailers
Contribute on client calls and draft client correspondence in a succinct manner that demonstrates your expertise and command of the subject/project that you are owning
Earn client and team trust by driving the day-to-day execution of client and account projects and deliverables with support from the team, flagging potential challenges and opportunities to senior team members
Manage clips and media placement coverage reports/ tracking documents
Provide ongoing monitoring for client and competitor coverage
Own ongoing client reports (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.) and trackers, keeping them updated and accurate
Identify trends or opportunities through reporting and monitoring, evaluating the ‘why’ behind the data
Support programmatic reports (e.g., event recap, mailer recap, influencer campaign recap, etc.)

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
