Responsibilities
Design, develop, and document embedded and application-level software for medical devices and diagnostic systems
Participate in all phases of the software lifecycle including requirements, design, implementation, testing, and release
Develop real-time graphical and visualization algorithms including three-dimensional tracking and anatomical modeling
Create and execute software and test plans, protocols, and reports to meet quality system requirements
Collaborate with quality, regulatory, hardware, and test engineering teams during design reviews and development cycles
Make and justify technical design decisions based on analysis, investigation, and performance testing
Transfer validated software solutions to manufacturing and provide launch and sustaining support
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with significant professional experience
Extensive experience with C++, Qt, and object-oriented software development on Linux platforms
Strong background in OpenGL, GPU programming, shader development, and real-time graphics systems
Experience developing multithreaded, real-time, high-performance applications
Knowledge of computational geometry and advanced mathematical algorithms
Experience working across the full product development lifecycle in regulated environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
Preferred
Master's or Doctoral degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries
Experience with Qt QML for graphical user interface development
Background in disciplined software engineering practices and formal development methodologies
