Software Developer 3 (OKE)
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is redefining cloud computing by combining public cloud flexibility with on-premises reliability. The Software Developer 3 role involves architecting and designing new features for Kubernetes, debugging existing systems, and building automation tools to support scalable cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Architect and design new features and systems for our customers
Work across teams to engineer the best system (both for operations and for customers) regardless of org boundaries or ownership
Debug, maintain and improve existing systems, with a focus especially for reducing operational burden and on performance
Be a generalist, able to debug issues across a wide breadth of our stack
Scale our systems by building tooling and automation
Work with partner teams outside our org and external to Oracle
Qualification
Required
A passionate engineer with solid programming chops and a deep curiosity for Kubernetes, containers, and distributed system architectures
Hungry to build, automate, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure at massive scale
Excited to innovate-from designing new architectures to rolling out seamless deployments and smarter tooling

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
