Group Business Development Manager
Amphenol is one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect products in the world. The Group Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving the organic and inorganic growth of the Amphenol Sensors and Measurement Solutions Group by identifying acquisition targets, building networks, and developing market insights.

Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze market trends, regulations, and global growth drivers (e.g., EV, AI, Heavy Vehicle, Mil-Aero, Factory Automation)
Evaluate serviceable available market (SAM) and total addressable market (TAM) for strategic applications
Identify and validate new business opportunities for ASMS and support their development
Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, competitive intelligence, and research to enable growth strategies
Support trade show planning, competitive tracking, and other market research activities
Build and maintain strong internal networks across ASTG, AISS, APH, and other Amphenol divisions
Actively identify collaboration opportunities between business units and facilitate meaningful connections
Support cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of key growth initiatives
Track and report progress on collaboration projects
Research and identify potential acquisition targets aligned with strategic growth priorities
Engage with potential targets and support the HQ M&A team with analysis, fit assessment, and communication
Assist in post-acquisition onboarding to ensure smooth integration and maximize long-term success
Maintain a structured M&A pipeline, including engagement tracking and documentation
Play a key role in strategy formulation and preparation at the Group level
Provide strategic and operational support to business units as needed to achieve growth objectives
Qualification
Required
MBA or equivalent advanced degree
5+ years of experience in technical marketing, strategy, or business development with a proven track record of creating demand, building pipelines, and driving profitable growth
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate broadly across cultures and functions
Demonstrated M&A experience or strong understanding of acquisition processes (preferred)
Successful international work experience, ideally within the technology or industrial sectors
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
