Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor, customer, and licensing agreements
Provide legal advice on employment matters, including hiring practices, terminations, and workplace policies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA, EPA, and other HVAC industry regulations
Manage and coordinate external counsel on litigation and specialized legal matters
Support intellectual property protection, including trademarks, patents, and trade secrets
Advise on corporate governance, board matters, and internal policies
Assist with legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
Conduct legal training for internal teams on compliance and risk management
Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the HVAC and manufacturing sectors
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Oklahoma or ability to obtain licensure promptly
Strong knowledge of contract law, employment law, and regulatory compliance
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with legal issues specific to manufacturing and HVAC industries
Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
High ethical standards and sound judgment in decision-making
Strong cognitive abilities, including critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing, HVAC, or industrial sectors
Certification in compliance or corporate law
