Supply Chain Intern
Komatsu is a world leader in manufacturing construction, mining, forestry, and industrial heavy equipment. The Supply Chain Intern will gain hands-on experience in supply chain management through a structured 12-week program, collaborating with professionals on real projects and assisting in the development of tools for the procurement/planning team.

Responsibilities
Shadow and collaborate with experienced supply chain professionals on real projects
Work on projects such as lead time reduction, availability improvement, collaborating with suppliers, and analyzing parts or families of parts by material and operations with excessive lead times
Assist in developing new tools for the procurement/planning team, including designing Power BI dashboards for quality, delivery, and cost
Qualification
Required
Actively enrolled in a Supply Chain or Data Analytics Program from a 4-year accredited college/university
Must be able to apply their academic background to real business world experiences
Prior experience with work study programs, school or volunteer leadership roles, participated on teams or in clubs, professional organizations, etc
Must have Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to multi-task, manage deadlines and easily adapt to new challenges and business working environment
Strong motivation to make contributions to Komatsu and strong motivation to drive results
Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically with Excel (Pivot Tables), Power BI, and other summary and analysis tools
Must demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills
Some travel may be required
