Responsibilities
Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment
Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software
Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process
Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI clearance is required
Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline
2+ years of Java, C#, C++ or Python
2+ years of Javascript or Typescript experience
Experience with React, Docker, Spring Boot or .NET
Proficiency working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or MongoDB)
Experience with DevSecOps and Agile Scrum software development methodology including using tools like Git, Jira and Confluence
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and Helm, with familiarity operating workloads in enterprise or cloud-managed Kubernetes platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Rancher, EKS)
Preferred
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes
Experience with Government Clouds (e.g. GovCloud, C2S)
An understanding of common geospatial data architectures, visualization, and data analytics
